Jen joined Wiley in 2012, and over the years, she has never lost her love of learning. Whether it’s involved embracing a new position or going back to school, Jen continues to seek out new ways to challenge herself.

Jen started working in Enrollment but transferred to our Academic Services team in 2014. Here she grew from a video production specialist to lead video producer, and into her current role as supervising producer.

On a typical day, Jen creates immersive learning opportunities for our partner schools’ online programs. This often involves video work that includes coaching faculty on how to craft and deliver an engaging story.

What’s been the highlight of her career so far? Jen is most proud of her team’s work for George Mason University’s Autism Certificate Program. They led a six-day video shoot where they had the chance to meet four different individuals with autism and hear their stories. “I’m grateful that I got to be a part of it. I learned so much and the faculty that we worked with were incredibly passionate about what they do. They worked so hard to collaborate with us and make sure that everything was planned out in a way to create an impactful learning experience for the students.”

After earning a Wiley Tuition Scholarship, Jen decided to pursue a master’s degree in Strategic Communications at the University of Delaware. She credits this program for helping her explore her interests and tap into a new skill set.

Jen loves fitness and staying active. In her free time, she enjoys attending her 9-year-old son’s sporting events and is planning to open a gym with her husband. Jen is also very passionate about her pets. She has two huskies and two cats who are known to make an appearance in her virtual meetings.
