Hoboken, N.J. – January 28, 2020 Wiley University Services, a division of Wiley (NYSE:JWa and NYSE:JWb) that offers student recruitment, marketing and other support for online programs, and Greenville University, today announced a seven-year partnership. This year, Wiley will help Greenville University launch 13 online programs and the number of Wiley-supported programs will grow to 22 by 2023.

“Wiley University Services offers a complete package of online program management services that best complements our needs,” said Dave Holden, dean of graduate and adult studies at Greenville University. “Our partners at Wiley are professionals as well as caring, patient and positive. That spirit and that approach have continued in the work leading up to our signing the partnership agreement. Greenville University appreciates the quality work that the Wiley team delivers.”

In 2018, Greenville University president Ivan L. Filby, Ph.D., announced an ambitious strategic plan that prioritizes innovation and quality learning experiences. Through this partnership, Wiley will provide services and personnel to support every step of the student journey, including pre-enrollment marketing efforts and retention assistance to ensure students earn their degree. Greenville University will also rely on Wiley for market research, recruitment, transcript evaluation, tuition planning, instructional design and faculty development services.

“Each of these areas is becoming more complex and requires great technical expertise,” Holden said. “Wiley provides expertise that will help us better serve our prospective and enrolled students, along with our faculty and staff.”

“At Wiley, we’re impressed by Greenville University’s rich history of offering degree programs that meet market needs, as this approach lays the foundation for a successful partnership,” said Todd Zipper, president of Wiley University Services. “We’re excited to build on the university’s culture of innovation as we support online programs that attract students seeking educational opportunities that advance their careers.”

About Greenville University

Greenville University (formerly Greenville College) was founded in 1892 by the Free Methodist Church with the intent to provide a distinctive, Christ-centered university education for men and women. The university’s first president, Wilson T. Hogue, used the motto “education for character” to describe the university’s purpose. Its mission 125 years later — empowering students for lives of character and service — echoes that purpose. Greenville’s 50-acre campus is located in the heart of Greenville, Illinois, a beautiful town of 7,000 people located 45 miles outside of St. Louis.
